The information has been combined with data collected by qualitative interviews with a selection of domestic market stakeholders.

Australian Tropical Fruit Industry - Future Directions June 2005

Australian Tropical Fruit Industry Partnership Program Pathways Report
This report details the concept of the Industry Partnership Program and highlights the expected benefits to industry. It gives a snapshot of the industry context, which includes a definition of the sector, the overall maturity and resources, the value chain structure, global production and trends, industry profitability, industry and organisational capacity, and knowledge management issues. It then outlines development and marketing trends, competition dynamics, and industry viability and sustainability. Following this a SWOT analysis of the industry is presented. The report goes on to detail the agreed goals and priorities of the Tropical Fruit IPP, as wella s strategies to achieve these goals. Finally the report recommends specific project activities to be taken forward.
